Feedback can help you identify what is working, what may be missing, and how to communicate your qualifications more clearly.
Pima students can submit a completed résumé through MyCareerLink for personalized feedback from Employer Engagement & Career Services. Resumes can be submitted any day of the year and they will be reviewed no later than the last business day of the week.
To request a review:
Sign in to MyCareerLink using your Pima credentials.
Submit it for review by the EECS team.
Use the feedback you receive to revise and strengthen your résumé.
Before submitting, make sure your résumé includes current contact information and has been reviewed for spelling and accuracy. If you are preparing for a specific opportunity, use the job or internship description to tailor your résumé before requesting feedback.

Students can register for a 15-minute, one-on-one virtual appointment to receive personalized résumé feedback.
To participate:
Register for an available appointment.
Have a completed résumé ready to review.
Join your virtual appointment at the scheduled time.
Be prepared to discuss your career interests or the types of opportunities you are pursuing.
Appointments are designed to help you identify specific changes you can make to strengthen your résumé.

Faculty, staff, academic departments, and student organizations can request a dedicated résumé-review session for their students.
If your department or program is willing to bring students and help ensure their participation, EECS will coordinate the review experience. Whenever possible, we will recruit an employer connected to the students’ field of study so they can receive feedback informed by industry expectations.
Your department or program will:
Identify and invite the participating students.
Help select a date and time that works for your group.
Encourage students to complete their résumés in advance.
Help ensure registered students attend and participate.
EECS will:
Help plan and facilitate the session.
Provide résumé guidance and resources.
Coordinate reviewers.
Work to recruit an employer from the students’ field of study whenever possible.
Your résumé can help you get an interview, but you also need to be ready to talk about the experiences and skills it represents.
Use Big Interview to practice responding to interview questions, record your answers, and build confidence before meeting with an employer. You can also use the EECS Career Hub to learn how to describe your skills and prepare examples from work, school, volunteering, leadership, and life experiences.
Start by choosing two or three experiences from your résumé. Practice explaining:
What you were responsible for
What actions you took
What skills you used
What happened as a result
How the experience prepared you for your next opportunity
Faculty, staff, academic departments, and student organizations can request a résumé presentation, activity, or dedicated review session. If you bring the students and help ensure they participate, EECS will coordinate the experience and, whenever possible, invite an employer from their field of study to provide industry-specific feedback.
